About the Role: We are looking for enthusiastic individuals wanting to expand their skills and grow their responsibilities.
This role would suit a tradesperson wanting to spread their wings and do something new and different. This role will involve work onsite/offsite and will require a mixture of skill sets: Electrical Installation work. Electrical service and repair work in a commercial customer environment.
Electrical small job and repair management, including pricing and procurement. Time management and job scheduling. Opportunity for project management to completion.
UPS, EV charger and solar installation work. DC systems Experience in extra low voltage Emergency lighting maintenance and other building compliance requirements. Interpret and understand plans and drawings, specifications and work orders.
Ensure all electrical safety tests are conducted and completed to NZ Electrical Board requirements. Work with management to develop new and refine existing processes. Experience in the Telecommunication maintenance environment beneficial! Full-time 40 Hours per week, on-call rotation Competitive hourly rate offered and overtime rate The successful applicant must have: Hold a New Zealand electrical practicing license, EWRB Registration.
A dedication to quality workmanship and H&S. HVAC related Electrical work beneficial but not a requirement. Be a motivated self-starter.
Strong communication skills (Excellent English communication, both written and verbal). Site Safe (Building Construction Passport) an advantage. Have a clean full New Zealand driver's license.
Have excellent customer relations and problem-solving skills. Can work unsupervised and resolve problems without direct supervision, but we have a great team to help when its needed. Be able to assist in the training of apprentices.
