The Team and Reporting Line A senior member of the partnership is overseeing the national team and providing leadership across all locations.

The Auckland office includes several capable lawyers at intermediate to associate level, and nationally the employment team is 15-strong.

The Role Youll be exposed to a broad mix of contentious and advisory employment law matters. Duties include: Advising employers and employees on employment agreements, restructures, disciplinary processes, and performance management Representing clients in mediations, ERA investigations, and Employment Court proceedings Drafting and reviewing complex employment contracts, policies, and workplace documentation Providing legal opinions and risk assessments on employment disputes Advising on personal grievances, constructive dismissal claims, and unjustified termination matters Advising on the employment aspects of commercial transactions, including due diligence Working closely with clients to deliver practical and strategic legal solutions Assisting with business development, including client training and webinars Mentoring and supporting junior team members where appropriate Clients and Workflow The client mix is approximately 60% employer / 40% employee , with steady workflow driven by referrals and direct online enquiries.
