Who are we looking for? Were looking for an Enterprise Payroll Manager to join our Group Finance team. In this role you will oversee GHDs payroll function, to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing of all regular and off payments for approximately 12,000 GHD employees. Pivotal to this will be to implement best practice, maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, and drive continuous improvements in payroll systems and processes.

In this diverse role you will: Develop and lead a geographically dispersed Payroll team across the Enterprise. Develop, mentor and empower direct team members to provide appropriate solutions, customer service and advice. Lead and optimise all end-to-end payroll processes whilst ensuring accurate pay calculations and compliance with Enterprise policies, relevant legislation and instruments, including taxation, and reporting obligations.

Lead the review of enterprise payroll processes and integrations, identifying trends, discrepancies, and anomalies, providing relevant insights, identifying gaps or inefficiencies and recommendations. Partner with People, IS, Finance teams and key stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with HRIS and financial systems and address system issues promptly, proposing enhancements as appropriate. Deliver expertise and insights to facilitate BAU payroll services and payroll improvement projects.

Develop and maintain internal controls to minimise risks associated with payroll activities. Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure adherence to legislation, instruments, and internal policies. Conduct impact assessments of proposed changes, determine the benefits to be realized, and measure, monitor, and update where deliverables change.

Partner with People, IS, Finance teams and key stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with HRIS and financial systems and address system issues promptly, proposing enhancements as appropriate. Provide continuous feedback, including positive confirmations on matters relating to compliance with company policies and procedures. Ensure a co-operative and open knowledge sharing relationship is developed and maintained across the Enterprise.

Support and lead the team on workflow and projects as required. Manage enterprise workload and recruit resources as required. What would you bring to the team? Ideally Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, HR and/or Certificate in Payroll Administration with APA or TAPS membership.
