The Role and You While the role involves refurbishing and repairing disability and rehabilitation equipment inhouse to our high standards, our customer is always front of mind in everything we do.
The position suits someone with a tooling and mechanical aptitude. This role is ideal for someone that takes great pride in their work, understands the importance of providing excellent customer service, and has great skills for basic fault finding and the use of hand tools. Youll work with the team writing work instructions and if youve used computer-based task process system previously this will be helpful, however specific training will be provided.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be: Evaluating equipment for repair or refurbishment Refurbishing components Replacing faulty/damaged parts Reassembly of equipment Training for the role will be provided and there is career advancement pathways and industry training opportunities for the right candidate. What you will bring An excellent work ethic, reliability and energy Basic mechanical and/or electrical aptitude The desire and ability to learn Basic experience using computers Previous experience as a field or workshop equipment technician is an advantage Our team culture provides an excellent working environment and you will experience a real sense of job satisfaction.
