Description About the Role We are looking for an Evening Support Services Assistant to join our housekeeping team, focused on maintaining high cleaning standards This is a permanent role offered at 0.5 FTE or 20 hours per week to be worked 6pm-10pm, Monday to Friday. Specific duties include: Ensure cleaning and hygiene standards in your designated area remains consistent with hospital standards Assist with the collection, transfer and disposal of hospital waste following best practice standards Maintain adequate cleaning supplies Skills And Experiences Skills and Experience Experience in a similar role would be preferred but is not essential Good communication and interpersonal skills Team player with a professional and positive attitude Enthusiasm and a proactive, flexible attitude To be eligible for employment at Mercy Hospital Dunedin, applicants will be required to provide vaccination history.
