Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity This junior role is based at RNZAF Ohakea in Manawatu and offers a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in maintaining electrical and mechanical plant. A strong focus on health and safety is essential, along with the ability to work well in a client-facing role and deliver results in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

The successful candidate must be eligible to obtain an NZDF Defence Site Clearance or National Security Clearance and be willing to work occasional evening shifts to meet client requirements. Were looking for someone who is process-oriented, understands contractual obligations and KPIs, and ideally has some experience or interest in electrical and mechanical maintenance. A background in the military or aviation sectors, particularly with civil or military helicopters, would be a plus.
