About the Role At Texel Air, safety and excellence are at the heart of everything we do.
Our expert maintenance teams are essential to ensuring our fleet operates at the highest standards. We are seeking skilled engineers who thrive in fast-paced environments, tackle challenges with innovative solutions, and consistently exceed service expectations. As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) with Texel Air, you will: Perform maintenance activities in compliance with our Part 145 Exposition.
Issue the Release to Service and ensure fleet readiness. Supervise and certify tasks carried out by Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs). Maintain reliability above 98.
5% by performing all maintenance safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Address safety issues proactively by reporting through the Texel Air safety reporting system. Contribute to schedule integrity by minimising the impact of maintenance activities on operations.
Need to be flexible with shift work, contactable (within reason) outside normal office hours, and willing to travel across Australia, New Zealand, and internationally as required. Key Accountabilities Ensure compliance with NZCAA Rule Part 145 requirements and company policies. Certification of tasks carried out on aircraft and components.
Undertake Aircraft Maintenance Engineering tasks as required. Actively contribute to operational excellence and safety standards. Participate in random alcohol and drug testing programs as part of our commitment to safety.
What Were Looking For To succeed in this role, youll need: Qualifications: NZCAA Maintenance Engineer Licence rated on B737-800 aircraft, or CASA Maintenance Engineer Licence rated on the B737-800 Experience: Minimum of 3 years line maintenance experience.
