About the role We are looking for a driven and career-focused External Salesperson to join our Auckland based team.

This is a permanent role with strong potential for growth within the business. Working hours: Monday to Friday, between 7:30am and 5:00pm. You will represent our Aluminium, Engineering, Stainless, and Steel divisions, building strong customer relationships and identifying new opportunities across the region.

This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in field sales, who thrives in a results-driven environment and understands that relationship-building is key to long-term success. A background in the building, construction, or related trade sectors would be highly regarded, but were also open to candidates with solid sales experience in other industries. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio Identify and pursue new business opportunities Provide outstanding customer service and product knowledge Monitor market trends and competitor activity Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs Requirements Minimum 2 years' B2B sales experience (essential) Full, clean class 1 driver licence (essential) Knowledge of the building or construction industry (advantageous) Proven success in a target-driven environment Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability A hunter mindset for new business development Intermediate to advanced computer and mathematical skills Experience working to budgets and setting targets Ability to retain and respond to shifting market trends Benefits We offer a secure future and solid career, along with a generous base salary and quarterly bonuses based on results A fully maintained company vehicle that has full private use usual tools of the trade Great professional development opportunities in a company that genuinely cares about the growth and development of its people We believe that flexible, relaxed, enjoyable workplaces make for happy people.
