Permanent full time position avaliabe About the Role As a Family Violence Response Coordinator (FVRC), you will deliver regional leadership on family violence matters and support, mentor and provide specialist advice and training to the Case Managers and other employees working with clients experiencing family violence. With your support, our Case Managers can work more effectively with our clients and their family/whanau when they are most in need of help and keep them safe. You will deliver training for Case Managers on areas including: Assist clients to understand and obtain entitlements and meet obligations Interpret and apply relevant legislation/ policy to client situations Inform clients of local family violence service providers You will work to build and maintain relationships with approved family violence service providers across the region, developing and maintaining effective links with a range of other people and agencies to maximise services built on interagency collaboration.

This includes links with appropriate community groups, professional agencies and other client groups that relate to this work at both a local and regional level. You will keep these providers informed on policy changes and operational processes and provides regular updates to the Regional Commissioner and Regional Director who manage key external relationships. About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: extensive knowledge of community networks, agencies and service providers proven experience in building strong working relationships, with both internal and external stakeholders awareness of community and regional issues experience facilitating and delivering training in both group and one-to-one situations outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills strong planning, organising and self-management skills integrity, accountability and sound judgement A full and clear NZ driver's license is required as you will be required to travel to fulfil job requirements.
