To assist in the day-to-day management of the 500 cow farm. The job will involve milkings, farm maintenance, tractor driving, possible calf rearing and stock handling. The successful applicant would be punctual, hardworking, honest and reliable.
Some experience would be preferred but on farm training can be given and primary ITO courses would be encouraged. 3 Bedroom house provided 500-cow farm located 20 minutes north of Whanganui. The farm has a 40 ASHB shed with a feedpad and mixer wagon for feeding out.
The farm is Autumn calving so starts calving 10th March and the dry's off about the 20th of January. The farm is well set up to make for easy management with gentle rolling land and a 45ha runoff up the road that has all the youngstock on..
