We are delighted to represent my client, a well-known and leading NZ Women's Fashion brand and retailer looking for a Finance and Operations Manager while they fill the role permanently. This contract could be anywhere from 1 month to 6 months in duration. My client is based in Grey Lynn and is looking for someone with an immediate start.
The purpose of this role is that you will be responsible for managing a group of companies' Finance and Administration duties. You will be collaborating with the CFO, this role will be responsible for the administrative and process efficiencies of the group across financial operations, administrative functions of head office, retail and property companies, occupational safety and health, human resource management, IT systems, and integrations. This is a full-time position.
This role will be Monday- Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and 40 hours a week. This is a very varied role and they are looking for someone who can hit the ground running As the Finance and Operations Manager, some of your key areas of responsibility will include: Financial management and control of the finance functions of the group to ensure the annual financial budget is achieved Management of delegated authorities and capex budgets Monitoring Cashflow for optimisation Overseeing all inter-company relationships and ensuring all transactions are compliant and accurate Preparation of month-end reporting packs for the CEO/Board and year-end management, liaising with external accountants Creating the annual budgets for Assist the CFO with dividend calculations, declarations, and any other financial matters Development and documentation of operational policies, systems, and procedures in a user-friendly system that gets user engagement Translating company goals and business strategies into developed plans and implemented operational actions I.T.
Management of both hardware and software systems and associated contractors, including researching new platforms to optimise resources Other duties as required As our ideal candidate, you will demonstrate: Previous experience in a Finance and Operations Manager role and experience in the retail and Accounting System Xero Invoice Approvals ApprovalMax Expense/Credit Card Claims Xero Expenses Consolidation Accounting System Fathom Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Teams (Sharepoint) Board reporting - BoardPro Excellent communication skills Excellent computer skills Strong attention to detail The ability to multitask and prioritize, with excellent time management skills Can pick up systems fast, and can work with a computer confidently Please only apply if you are available IMMEDIATELY.
