The Role Facteon Intelligent Technology has an opportunity for a Fitter, Turner & Machinist to join the team at our East Tmaki workshop. As a Fitter, Turner & Machinist at Facteon, you will be involved in manufacturing components for internal project work and external customers. You will be responsible for: Manufacturing components according to specifications Manual machining of components including turning, milling, surface grinding, and welding Interpreting technical drawings Ensuring engineering specifications are incorporated into manufacturing processes, such as roughing operations, stress relieving, and heat treatments Carrying out machinery/equipment maintenance Working cross-functionally with our Assembly team About you We are looking for someone who: Has a relevant trade qualification Has 5 years post-qualification experience Has experience working with different types of metal Is a team player Demonstrates initiative and enthusiasm Has excellent problem-solving abilities About us Facteon is an international specialist in factory solutions, smart manufacturing, and Industrial IoT.
