The Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Fitter Welder Fabricator to work on all aspects of engineering on our build projects.

This role is particularly important to the business and we want to hear from you if you are a highly motivated, talented team player who wants to make a difference by bringing your fabrication, fitting and welding expertise into our business. Youll be part of a dynamic team servicing the utilities sector with specialist truck-mounted equipment and excavator undercarriage parts. Working on build projects as set by supervisor including all aspects of engineering as required.

This can include multiple engineering tasks fabrication, assembly and repairs and maintenance. Preparation for sandblasting and painting H&S and certificates (ie welding/ forklift) upheld as needed Complete Reports, check sheets and documentation as required. Maintenance of key production metrics as required.

Be willing to work flexible hours About You: At least 5 years experience in preferably working on steel, aluminium and stainless projects. Flux core and hard wire welding tickets (or overseas equivalent) preferable. Trade qualification desirable but not essential.

Experience operating a gantry crane/gantry crane ticket preferable. Dynamic can-do attitude able to work well under pressure and willing to go above and beyond to serve customers and key stakeholders. Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with those around you to achieve department goals.

Driver License you should have a Class 1 licence, or be able to get it soon after starting with us. Physically fit for the demands of the role. Location: The role is based in Richmond Hours of work: The ordinary hours of work are rostered between 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday. The role is a minimum 40 hours/week, with 40 hours a week typical. You may be required to work on Saturdays from time to time or do overtime NB: All applicants are required to have the right to live and work in New Zealand.
