Foster Parent Recruiter Part Time - 10 Hours Wairarapa Supporting Families, Caring for Children The Open Home Foundation (OHF) is a Christian Community Response and has a vision that every child and young person has the opportunity to grow up in a secure, loving family and receive a depth of care which will bless them throughout their lives. The Open Home Foundation is seeking a part-time Foster Parent Recruiter. This position is 10 hours per week, recruiting caregivers within the Wairarapa and surrounding areas.
The successful person will have the following: Excellent communication and networking skills Marketing knowledge and skills and/or a relevant qualification The ability to work alone and also as part of a team. The ability to develop and outwork project plans. To work weekends & evenings as required, some flexibility needed in order to promote Open Home Foundation (OHF) to the wider community.
Role includes networking with churches and wider Christian community. An in-depth understanding of how the role recognizes the special relationship between Mori and Tauiwi and has a strong empathy with the organizations special character. An alignment with the Open Home Foundations Christian Kaupapa.
Some hours flexible due to networking required within the community. A full NZ Driver License is essential.
