We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our pre-eminent Guest Services team.

As the Front Office Supervisor, you will help set the tone for our guest experience from the first warm welcome to a smooth farewell. You will support the Duty Managers and Rooms Division Manager in overseeing front desk operations, guiding our dedicated front office team and ensuring seamless service delivery around the clock. Explore your journey ahead Supervise, support, and motivate the front office, concierge, and bell teams to deliver exceptional guest service.

Provide hands-on support during check-in/check-out and VIP guest arrivals, creating personalised and memorable experiences. Lead by example, maintaining a visible presence in the lobby and proactively addressing guest needs or concerns. Coordinate daily front desk operations, manage team rosters and ensure effective communication between departments.

Review guest feedback and operational reports to identify service enhancements and training opportunities. Conduct routine room and lobby inspections, ensuring quality, cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards. Assist with financial tasks such as shift auditing, billing accuracy, upselling and reporting.

Uphold health & safety and emergency procedures, ensuring guest and colleague well-being at all times. What we expect from you Minimum one year of experience in a Front Office or Guest Services supervisory role, ideally in a luxury hotel environment. Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Tourism Management is advantageous.

Current First Aid Certificate, LCQ, and Managers Certificate preferred. Confidence in leading a team, managing daily operations, and handling guest escalations with care and professionalism. Proficient in hotel property management systems (PMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues alike. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and overnights when needed. Valid working rights for New Zealand.
