About the role Were looking for an exceptional Fundraising & Communications Director to join CAPs Executive leadership team. This is a unique strategic opportunity to be part of a collaborative team contributing towards CAPs org-wide strategic direction. This is an opportunity for someone to lead a talented team across Fundraising, Communications and Communications Agency.
You will be an expert in your craft, telling stories, driving growth, inspiring others, building strong networks and delivering on strategy. Key areas of responsibility include Lead ELT and the organisation along, bringing Fundraising & Communications expertise across internal & external opportunities. Create, build and drive Fundraising and Communications strategic direction Provide leadership and direction to the team Inspire and provide expertise to the team creating impactful client stories Build and maintain current and new relationships with other charities/partners to grow CAPs influence and external brand.
Identify and manage any risks relating to CAPs brand, communications, fundraising and revenue generation. Ensure excellent stewardship of fundraising resources for the department while managing the budget. About you You are excited to bring your professionalism, talent and expertise to enable the greatest possible impact for whnau experiencing money chaos in Aotearoa.

Youll also bring relevant experience for the role: 5 years proven experience in a similar role Excellent strategic and decision-making abilities, with a proven track record of developing and outworking strategic initiatives. Excellent influencing, relationship-building and people skills, with a proven track record of resolving complex issues with others.
Comfort and experience communicating to groups and inspiring action. Proven ability to lead and develop leaders and senior managers to increased effectiveness. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as being a fast learner with a high capacity to retain information.
E xcellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Confident, calm and decisive in pressured or ambiguous situations. Proven track record in leading and executing successful fundraising campaigns Strong project management and organizational skills.
