Title: General Practitioner Te Hau o Te Ora Partnered Primary Care Services Limited Location: Mataura FTE: Negotiable About us: Te Hau o Te Ora Mataura is a small rural practice with 2400 enrolled patients. The practice is supported by a highly skilled nursing workforce, Health Improvement Practitioner, Kaiawhina Support Worker, Health Care Assistant and a large administrative team. The team is dedicated to addressing health equity and improving health outcomes for all patients and whnau.

Ensuring the best care and support is available, your work will be rewarding We are seeking General Practitioners to join our team at Te Hau o Te Ora Mataura . What you will bring: Strong cultural confidence and competence, keeping whnau at the centre of care provided. An understanding of the socio-economic and cultural determinants of health.

Be self-motivated and independent yet thrive in a collaborative environment. An in-depth knowledge of and passion for primary health care. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.

A current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand & CORE advanced resuscitation or PRIME certified. Prior experience with Medtech Evolution desired but not essential. We can offer: Customisable FTE to suit your needs and promote work/life balance.
