In this role, youll play a crucial part in managing our geospatial information systems, maintaining stand records, and supporting forest operations with accurate data and mapping. The Role Youll be responsible for delivering an effective GIS mapping and information service, data management and reporting across our operations, this includes: Leading the application and integration of GIS systems and databases Maintaining accurate and up-to-date plantation stand records and aerial photography Producing high-quality maps for forest planning and operations Oversee data collection and reporting processes across the Wenita team and translate collected data into meaningful insights to support informed decision-making. Supporting compliance with environmental and health & safety standards This position plays a key liaison role with internal teams and external stakeholders including auditors, consultants, local authorities, and neighbours. Skills And Experiences About You Were seeking someone who combines technical excellence with strong interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will have: Experience in ArcGIS is essential, with experience with integrating aerial photography, and database/drafting systems preferred Proficiency in GIS mapping, spatial analysis, and forestry database management Capability and experience in data analysis and reporting systems, including preparation of dashboards and reporting.
