Based at our Auckland Design Centre , as a Global Product Manager you will be someone who can establish and maintain strong links between the product development teams and a wide range of global stakeholders to lead the full product life cycle, from ideation to product launch and portfolio optimisation. Who are you? Our Global Product Managers help drive the strategic direction and profitable growth of our various product portfolios. You will develop a deep understanding of the global competitive landscape and use your innate ability to take hard and soft data from multiple sources and turn it into genuine insights. You'll work closely with Chief Engineers, Industrial Designers, our regional teams and the Head of your Product Line to ensure the relevant product portfolio is consistent with the business strategy and goals for Fisher & Paykel Appliances.
You will also liaise with our regional product management teams and global functions to lead new product introductions to ensure we deliver a positive and timely impact in market. We are seeking an experienced Global Product Manager with a clear vision on how to achieve our leading goal to be the world's most human-centred, 1 home appliances brand. This senior-level role requires a strategic thinker with a background in product management, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and exceptional skills in analysing and synthesizing information.
You will have experience working for a global organisation in product management, marketing or even in a product development role, preferably within the luxury goods or premium brands, managing physical product. Proven skills in leading by influence with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders at all levels, as well as sound communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences. Proficiency in project management, prioritisation, with good judgement on high leverage work and getting into the right level of detail are key to being successful in this role .
You will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and capable of making sound decisions in uncertain environments. In time youll be seen as a trusted cat.
