The General Manager of Product Line is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our business and lead our dishwashing category, based in our Dunedin Design Centre - at the core of this role is the mission to lead growth across global markets and elevate the profit position of Fisher & Paykel Appliances (FPA). As the GM of the Product Line, you will lead the product strategy through to implementation, setting the path to success for F&P Appliances in this category. Your leadership will span across various key areas: Product Line Leadership: You will be at the helm, spearheading cross-functional collaboration to achieve our product line objectives.
It's your responsibility to ensure that all teams work in harmony towards a common goal. Product Line Financial Performance: With commercial accountability, you will provide vital input to all business functions in line with FPA strategy, ensuring the achievement of target revenue and margin. You will be influencing Sales & Operations Planning, Pricing, Promotion, Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing, all with a view of aligning execution to strategic objectives.
Collaborative and Strategic Product Planning: Leading product range planning, you'll work closely with Product Development, Industrial Design, and Product Management to deliver products that meet the market needs profitably. You'll be the bridge between commercial and market insights, guiding cross-functional product planning, identifying, valuing, and prioritizing opportunities, sharing market trends, insights, and opportunities, and planning product ranges for optimal results. Your proactive approach to design, distribution, and product specifications will drive innovation.
Product Portfolio Optimization: You'll be the guardian of our product's life cycle, ensuring they are optimised, and product ranges are rationalized to meet changing market dynamics. Product Management Team Leadership: You will have direct line management for the Global Product Manager, providing market intelligence to support decision-making in sales, marketing, and product development.
