You can expect to undertake placements in most areas of our business, helping you to build great working relationships, a good understanding of how we operate across our teams and the whole supply chain while testing your capabilities along the way. You will be coached and mentored throughout this process and encouraged to apply for other roles when th etime is right. Our ideal candidate will have: A real passion for the forest industry and a strong desire to learn Experience working in a team environment or some leadership experience A tertiary qualification in forestry or a relevant field with forestry application Some knowledge of or experience in operational practices in forest management Strong data management & analysis skills An understanding of or skill in other technologies such as UAVs, GIS and remote sensing The capability to undertake field work and contractor supervision A full drivers licence and ability to drive in forestry conditions The ability to work flexible hours to meet operational needs What we offer: If youre willing to put in the time and dedication, in return we offer you the opportunity to join a progressive and growing world class business with career development and further training opportunities.
We offer the successful applicants a two year graduate contract with a competitive salary, vehicle including full private use and welfare benefits including Southern Cross and insurances. This position is based in Rotorua. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or current eligibility to work in New Zealand.
