Whats the opportunity? We are seeking a reliable and skilled Hammer Hand to join our team. Entecs instrumentation and electrical business is growing at a stellar pace. The size of our team has doubled in the last few years, but our workload is growing even quicker.
One of our largest business units, Prefabricated Plant Rooms (PPR) has experienced exponential growth, hence, we are looking to expand our team by bringing the construction aspect of the projects in house to compliment our Electrical/Instrumentation teams. Some industrial exposure and knowledge of Coolroom Insulated EPS panel installation would be looked upon favourably. This role will be based out of our modern, purpose built, New Plymouth facility, with the opportunity to work away at sites across New Zealand and overseas. Key responsibilities.
assist tradespeople by carrying out manual tasks including using hand tools and power tools, prepare and maintain safe, clean and tidy job sites, assist the fitout team with equipment installation into the plant rooms, assist with the installation of fixtures, fittings, and Coolroom Insulated EPS panels and trims, work as part of a team to meet project deadlines and quality standards. To be considered for this role you would need to hold or demonstrate: previous experience in construction or a related field, A valid NZ drivers license, strong physical fitness and ability to work in a hands-on role, proficiency in the use of hand tools and basic power tools, excellent teamwork and communication skills, focus and attention to detail, Remuneration will be by way of competitive hourly rate dependant upon qualifications, relevant experience, and any other skills you can bring to the business. Penal rates and other allowances are also paid.
The standard working week will be 40 hours, with potential for overtime to be worked as well. The majority of work will be centred around Taranaki, but you will need to be ab.
