The Role: We are looking for a Head Teacher to join our dedicated baby and toddler team at Bear Park Kohimarama. We are a well-known and respected centre looking for a like-minded teacher to provide innovative and engaging experiences and care for our children. At Bear Park we work hard to ensure our centre, and room teams, are diverse, collaborative and communicative.

Our incredible ratios (1:3 for babies and 1:4 for toddlers) and open-ended environments allow teachers time to partake in small group work driving rich engagement with children. We pride ourselves on providing an enjoyable and fun teaching environment where ideas are shared, creativity is nurtured and support is key. We listen, to our children and our teachers.

We welcome feedback and conversation, which flows freely during our weekly 3 hours planning meetings. These are held during work hours to allow your personal time to remain your own. Based in our toddlers room, you will enjoy ratios of 1:4 with 16 children and 4 teachers.
