The Role: We are looking for an energetic and creative Head Teacher to oversee our infant and toddler rooms at Bear Park Henderson. Working primarily in our 1-2 year old room, you will be part of an immediate team of five teachers. You will also oversee our under 1 year old room and our 2-3 year old room.

We work hard to ensure our centre, and room teams, are diverse, collaborative and communicative. You will have 3 hours a week for your leadership administrative tasks, along with 3 hours collaborative planning time with your team. Our teachers have the time to partake in small group work driving rich engagement with children.

We provide spacious, bright and natural spaces allowing a connection with nature. We provide an enjoyable and fun teaching environment where ideas are shared, creativity is nurtured and support is key. We welcome feedback and conversation, which flows freely during our weekly 3 hours planning meetings.

You will drive the engagement and overall success of our teachers, the delight in our children, and the strength in our whanau relationships.
