Description About Us At Bowen Hospital, we perform a wide range of diagnostic, interventional and surgical procedures. Situated in the picturesque hills of Crofton Downs, we pride ourselves on the exceptional outcomes we deliver to everyone in our care. About the role As a Healthcare Assistant, you will support to our Nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide basic care for our patients as directed by a Registered Nurse.

You will transport patients to and from x-ray, ECG and other departments/areas as directed, as well as but not limited to: Assist with restocking/rotation of department consumables, and report low stock levels Assist with overseeing and monitoring equipment as directed Maintenance of clean and dirty sluice areas, cleaning of equipment (including vases, bowls, linen skips, trolleys) and loading/emptying of sanitizer Patient cares, such as answering patient bells, delivering newspapers to patients, assisting with showers, etc. Support patients and their families/whanau by meeting clinical needs and establishing a sense of security Multiple casual positions available, located at Bowen Hospital, Crofton Downs, Wellington.
