Horizon, based in Palmerston North is recruiting for a High Voltage Electrician.

Reporting to the Technical Services Supervisor, it will be your responsibility to: To provide field based technical and Electrical services for Network & Third-Party clients including maintenance and projects. To Undertake Electrical Distribution Faults & repairs for the network To be a successful candidate will require the following qualifications and experience: 2 to 5 years in associated activities Use of network communication systems Knowledge of generation and distribution equipment (low and high voltage) Good understanding of network operating systems Thorough knowledge of and ability to maintain, transformers and switchgear rated from 400V to 33kV Knowledge of all appropriate industry rules and regulations Thorough knowledge of health and safety requirements in the electricity industry Current Manual NZ Drivers Licence The Horizon Energy Group takes pride in its commitment to the health and safety of all its stakeholders.
