HR & HSW Administrator VetSouth , Southland Were on the lookout for a capable and organised administrator to join our HR team at VetSouth ! If youre someone who thrives on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, enjoys variety, and loves working with people, this could be the perfect fit. Due to the geographic nature of our business, our preference would be for this role to be based in Winton, however for the right candidate we can accommodate Invercargill or Gore. About the Role As our HR & HSW Administrator, youll support the day-to-day operations of our HR and Health & Safety functions across the Southern regionand sometimes beyond.

Youll play a key part in onboarding and offboarding processes, keeping records accurate , supporting staff training, and helping us maintain safe, compliant workplaces. Working alongside our HR Admin & Projects Lead and our HR Manager, and HSW Manager, youll be part of a small and supportive team that values great communication , initiative, and a strong attention to detail. Key responsibilities include: General HR and recruitment admin, including maintaining BambooHR Assist with payroll queries and maintenance Completing onboarding, induction, and offboarding processes Compiling health & safety report s, preparations of presentations for meetings Managing documentation and tracking using tools like Safe365 Helping deliv er employee engagement initiatives What were looking for: 3-4 years experien ce in administration or office support , ideally with experience in HR and Health & Safety A friendly, approachable, and professional communication style Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks Experience using digital systems Suc h as BambooHR or Safe365 is a plus , but if you are keen to learn dont let this stop you applying A willingness to learn and grow with the role Bonus points if you have: Previous experience supporting HR or Health & Safety teams Familiarity with NZ employment law and H&S Safety at work act or H&S processes Why join VetSouth ?
