Harvey Norman is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support our People Operations team with a range of ER and administrative functions. This is a full-time position located in our Manukau SupaCenta support office. About the Role This role supports the development of ER capability among our managers and proprietors.

You will assist with a range of employment relation activities including employee history checks, drafting documents, coordinating wellbeing initiatives and events, and providing notetaking support for ER cases. Key responsibilities include: Be the first point of contact for ER queries Use HR systems for reporting and data analysis. Manage employee admin tasks such as variations and long service leave.

Maintain ER policies, intranet content, and personnel files. Provide admin and project support to the People Operations team. Build strong relationships to deliver effective ER support.

About You We are looking for a strong communicator who is clear, confident and able to build rapport quickly, with the ability to manage conflict effectively. You will be detail-oriented, efficient and process-driven with a practical approach to problem-solving and a commitment to confidentiality. Adaptability is key youll embrace change and feedback with a calm, flexible mindset.

Some attributes we are looking for include: 1 years experience in an ER administrative role Strong Microsoft Office knowledge, especially in Excel & Power Bi Ability to interact proactively with management and staff at all levels Ability to interpret legislation, agreements together with policy and procedures Experience within a retail organisation, desirable A relevant HR tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, desirable About Us Harvey Norman was introduced to New Zealand in 1997, since then we have become a household name, with over 45 stores nationwide plus offsite warehouses, commercial offices and the Auckland Support Office.
