Youll be able to apply our powerful global network of skills and decades of experience to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communities This is a fantastic opportunity for a Hydraulic Modeller Wastewater and Stormwater to join our water team in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington or other regional locations. The role: Lead by example, delivery of high-quality reports, correspondence and other deliverables Hydraulic and hydrological modelling of wastewater and stormwater networks including stormwater open channels, and attenuation basins/ponds Wastewater and Stormwater Planning studies Data analysis and manipulation Model build, calibration and validation Options analysis of wastewater and stormwater networks with assessment of existing problems and recommended solutions / upgrades Develop concept designs Preparation of comprehensive reports About you: Background.

Holds a relevant university degree in Civil Engineering, backed by at least 5 years of practical experience in the industry or consulting sector. Industry Experience. Well-versed in industry design standards and guidelines, ensuring all projects adhere to best practices and regulatory requirements.

Technical Skills . Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word, to facilitate data analysis, reporting, and documentation. Technical Proficiency.

Experienced with hydraulic modelling tools such as Infoworks ICM, DHI, Tuflow , and other relevant software, enabling accurate simulation and analysis of water systems. Knowledge and Application . Knowledgeable in GIS applications, supporting spatial analysis and mapping tasks seamlessly.

Communication. Excellent communicator, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats. Teamwork and Collaboration .

Skilled at fostering teamwork, encouraging collaboration, and nurturing a positive work environment. Multi-tasking. Highly organized with the ability to multitask across various projects and meet deadlines consistently.
