What We're Looking For: Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work from new builds and installations to ongoing maintenance Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills you thrive under pressure and find solutions quickly A solid understanding of NZ Electrical Standards , regulations, and health & safety compliance Excellent communication skills you'll be working with clients, contractors, and your team, so being able to clearly communicate is key The ability to work both independently and as part of a team Current NZ Electrical Registration or eligible to obtain NZ registration through the EWRB (Electrical Workers Registration Board) Full NZ Drivers Licence or eligible to obtain one If youre an international applicant, we welcome migrants and will assist with your NZ Electrical Registration and visa process What You'll Be Doing: Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings Reading and interpreting technical plans, diagrams, and specifications Diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs Working on a variety of projects, including commercial offices, industrial plants, schools, and more Ensuring compliance with NZ health & safety regulations in all work Collaborating with the team to deliver exceptional results for clients Whats In It for You: Competitive hourly rate based on skills and experience - $35 -$45 per hour and a 40 hour working week Assistance with obtaining NZ Electrical Registration (if migrating) Full-time, stable role with long-term career potential The opportunity to work in a growing business that values quality and safety Work-life balance in Gisborne a beautiful, sun-soaked region known for its beaches, relaxed lifestyle, and vibrant community If you're a migrant, we'll help guide you through the process of obtaining your NZ Work Visa and electrical qualifications Ready to Make the Move?
