Industrial Electrician Whangarei, New Zealand An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our client'steam at the Whangarei Branch. This permanent full-time role involves performing senior-level electrical work, including installation, adjustment, repair, and maintenance of various electronic and electrical systems such as pumps, motors, instruments, PLC controls, communication equipment, automatic and power-operated valves, treatment plant equipment, lighting, and other electrical equipment. Key Responsibilities: Efficiently coordinate and supervise electrical resources on site.

Provide after-hours electrical coverage as required. Utilize working knowledge of 3-Phase systems. Apply experience in a manufacturing facility.

Demonstrate proficiency in instrumentation, PLC fault finding, motor starters, VSDs, and related technical documentation (drawings, specifications, scopes of work, instrument data sheets, P&IDs, equipment lists, load lists, instrument lists, valve lists, IO lists, SLDs, motor starter diagrams, loop drawings, IO connection drawings, block cable diagrams). Manage projects from start to finish, including financial, risk, and program management. Act as a technical expert for electrical tasks on projects.

Key Attributes: Highly motivated and quick-thinking with a focus on fault finding and root cause analysis. Ability to self-direct while also working effectively within a team. Electrical registration with a current practicing license.

Current driver's license. Preferred knowledge of Logix 500 and 5000. Previous experience with CMMS systems is preferred.
