We Go Beyond for A Safer World Information Security Analyst Te Tranga The Role Are you passionate about cyber security and looking for an opportunity to make a tangible difference in a global business that supports public safety, utilities, and transportation? Tait Communications is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our Christchurch-based team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in protecting both Tait and our customers across the Asia Pacific region. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day security operations, responding to threats, and ensuring we meet ISO 27001 standards.

You'll also support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing efforts, help maintain our secure system configurations and collaborate with internal teams and third parties to uphold best practices in security compliance. A small component of the role also involves ICT support tasks. The duties of the role will include: Maintaining secure configurations of systems and security tools.

Monitoring systems, analysing logs, and responding to security alerts. Supporting ISO 27001 compliance and audit readiness. Leading or assisting in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security reporting.

Participating in the Security Incident Response Team (SIRT). Conducting security testing and risk evaluations of procured services. Providing support for customer ICT devices and assisting with incident triage when required .

pkenga About You To be successful in this role, you will bring a relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in Information Security or a related discipline. We're looking for someone with: Experience in intrusion detection/prevention, multi-factor authentication, and encryption. Strong understanding of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals.

Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments, enterprise routers, and firewalls. Awareness of risk management principles and ISO 27001 standards. A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred certifications (not essential): CompTIA A or Security Cisco CyberOps Associate or CCNA SSCP or GIAC Security Fundamentals Ng painga What's in it for you?
