We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior External Envelope Engineer to join our team in Auckland. In this role you will work collaboratively within a multi-discipline environment, to provide expert advice and assist the delivery of high-quality technical reports. You will work with a highly motivated team who are passionate about what they do, and where they can make a difference.

On a day-to-day basis, you will: Produce high-quality engineering designs and technical specifications, with a focus on glass applications including balustrades, faades, glazing, canopies, and flooring. Provide timely, professional technical and engineering support to clients. Assist the Associate Principal with the preparation of project bids and tenders.

Ensure project delivery aligns with budget, timelines, and quality expectations. Maintain ongoing communication with clients and consenting authorities. Liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams on faade-related issues.

Collaborate with architects to develop faade concepts and generate tender documentation. Conduct preliminary engineering design and structural checks of faades and architectural features. Carry out site inspections of installations when required.

Prepare accurate technical reports and contribute to peer review processes. Support process planning and quality control to uphold company standards. Foster strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.

What you will bring: Bachelor of Engineering (Preferably Mechanical or Structural); Excellent communication skills; written and spoken; Attention to detail and ability to problem solve; Understanding of the glass and faade industry; Ability to work independently and in a team; Self-motivated and reliable; Endeavour to develop and not afraid to face challenges.
