Senior Developers play a pivotal role in our technical landscape - designing, developing and maintaining mobile applications and online platforms. He krero m te tranga | About the role Develop Android and iOS applications and middleware. Evaluate solution designs and build prototypes. Test code and optimise performance.
Deploy and maintain apps and solutions. Write and maintain technical documentation. Support team members through code reviews and mentoring.
He krero mu ake | About you 3-5 years of experience in software development and maintenance of cloud platforms and applications. Proven experience in mobile app development for both Android and iOS platforms using React Native, native build tools (e.g.
Xcode, Android Studio) and integration with native modules. Experience in building online and offline apps utilising APIs, real-time push notifications, consuming native APIs and mobile SDKs. Proficiency in RESTful API and DevOps, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of Apple Human Interface guidelines and Google Material Design principles. Experience in developing video streaming applications will be an advantage. Experience with front end technologies such as React, Typescript, HTML, CSS, Nextjs will be advantageous.
Experience with backend technologies such as Go will be advantageous. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL. Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms (AWS).
