Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) are seeking an experienced Construction Quantity Surveyor to join a great Wellington team. Leading a small team, managing interesting projects throughout New Zealand. If you have a strong background in running your own projects and you are ready for the next step or just a change in environment, then this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple projects ranging from $500k to $4 million. Mentor and motivate the exisiting QS team Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. Oversee all aspects of the commercial process from procurement to payments, claims, variations, contracts admin, cost reporting to final accounts.

Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships and seizing the opportunities Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise. Requirements: Related Construction Qualification Minimum 6 - 10 years experience (3 Must be in New Zealand min) Proven experience working on live sites and office based roles, specifically in the commercial and industrial sectors. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage multiple project budgets with a small team Ability to travel when required (1-2 days a week) Excellent communication and leadership skills.
