About the company Our client is a global manufacturer of oil and lubricants for the automotive and industrial applications industries. Description of the role We are looking for a passionate and experienced Learning and Development Project Coordinator, accountable for the implementation of the Learning and Development turnaround/shutdown strategy.

This includes delivering a detailed project plan whilst partnering with key stakeholders to ensure all milestones are met. In addition, this role will also support the onboarding and training of mobilized crews in an intensive timeframe. Key Accountabilities Accountable for developing new processes, procedures and quick reference guides to successfully implement the Learning and Development strategy Uphold the systematic implementation of existing processes, procedures and adhering to the company's Common Practice project milestones Monitor and control the L&D Project Plan by ensuring project objectives can be met efficiently in the right sequence, by a group of people with unique skills within project constraints (time, budget, quality, etc.

) Accurately map out talent resources, tasks and dependencies, make timeline estimates, set specific and general schedules as well as continuously update the team Highlight any potential risks to the L&D Lead and implement mitigation strategies Communicate effectively with stakeholders, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed. Provide regular project updates with supporting documentation Create a Turnaround Training Matrix by completing a gap analysis with team leaders and systematically ensure all training requirements are met by employees and contractors Build and maintain strong partnerships with the ability to work collaboratively across teams, functions and levels. Influence and collaborate to gain support and agreement for the L&D Project Plan Essential to the role: Demonstrated experience leading projects with varying complexities (in high hazardous environments / major hazard facilities) Demonstrated experience using your influencing and collaborating skills to gain agreement with various stakeholder groups on a project plan Strong problem-solving skills, resilience and ability to think on your feet Experience in logistics and coordination of people and facilities Proven record of facilitating to larger groups (15) with a demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles Ability to embed training concepts by coaching in the field Desirable experience includes : Experience in creating engaging training content (desirable topics as Safety, Industrial Hygiene) Certificate IV in Training and Assessing Development of interactive e-learning content through Articulate Storyline 3 or similar authoring tools Proficient in developing traini.
