We are seeking an experienced legal assistant to join our Property team in Tauranga . This is an exciting time as our Tauranga office will relocate to their new home at Durham Street in April. The role provides an opportunity to engage in a variety of work, including support of conveyancing matters, private client and trust administration.
You will play a vital role in supporting our busy teams, working alongside experts who are supportive and encourage you to be your best. We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual who enjoys variety and thrives on challenges. To be successful in this role you will: Have a minimum of three years' experience as a Legal Assistant.
Experience with LINZ would be an advantage. Provide secretarial support with a high level of technical ability and accuracy. Be able to multi-task, prioritise, and work effectively under pressure.
Have extensive skills in Adobe software (PDF) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Be well-organised, systematic, efficient, and capable of working electronically. Understand the importance of deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Be approachable, adaptive and proactive with a keenness for continued learning opportunities. Coordinate meetings, billing, and running reports. Bring initiative, clear communication, energy and commitment.
