A stylish, boutique law firm are seeking a Legal Secretary with strong organisational skills, to work for 3 lawyers. Client Details Culture, enthusiasm and little dictation are all key factors of this firm They pride themselves on being specialised in the planning and estate administration area and have a very low turnover in staff. Description The legal secretary they are in search of will support 3-4 lawyers in all aspects of their workload. Some of those more specific tasks will include:- Preparing legal documents to include drafting, amending, entering information, editing of; Liaising with clients and stakeholders on various matters; Organising and having diary management of 3-4 lawyers; File administration including opening, closing and archiving of files; Chasing clients for documentation; Printing, scanning and copying documents where required; Arranging and sorting lawyers expenses and any travel required; Arranging files both hard and soft copy; Organising safe custody of documentation. Excitingly, there is very little digital dictation for this position as the firm use Dragon Software, so it will be more a case of attentively checking documents that have been drafted by speech, via lawyers.

There may also be other interesting tasks that arise around clients and matters, outside of the above. Profile For you to be successful in this legal secretary position you will need to be strong in organisation, with a robust attitude in the organising of lawyers. The role is very organisation orientated, but alongside this, you will also be bright, switched on and highly motivated to do things quickly, but accurately.

Specific attributes to this role include:- - 3 years of proven legal secretary experience in all areas, but it would be even more advantageous if it was in either commercial or conveyancing type work- both sectors are a great reflection of the Estates area type. If you have strong wills experience, this will be a bonus - You will have worked with at least 2 or 3 lawyers and be able to demonstrate your capabilities to support 3-4 lawyers - Having above standard technology skills will be a desirable for this role.
