Hick Bros Civil Construction are looking for full time Machine Operators/Labourers to join our Hawkes Bay based team. We are offering competitive pay rates and guaranteed minimum hours. We have a great working environment, and will have plenty of hours available.

Job requirements: Minimum of 2 years' operating experience on Excavators (GPS experience advantageous), Bulldozers, Graders, Loaders, Compactors, Rollers or ADTs Must be able to work full time Monday - Friday 12 hour days & 6-7 hours every Saturday Must have own transport to & from work, full class 1 Be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Have the legal right to work in NZ Ideally, you will also be: > Able to work unsupervised with a positive work attitude > Willing and proactive in getting out of your machine to help on the ground as needed > Reliable and drug free, with a high work ethic > Understanding of safe work practices pertaining to an earthworks/civils environment > Knowledgeable of, or ability to learn, operations outside of general duties > Willing to assist with maintenance, clean-up and anything else that requires attention, as directed by the Site Supervisor or Manager What were offering: Pay dependent on experience and skill Minimum guaranteed hours and a permanent full time contract Regular reviews of pay rate based around performance Modern machinery including opportunities to train on GPS Company sponsored team building and social events Great work environment and personal development Plus youll be working as part of an elite, high level team with one of New Zealands busiest and most successful complex earthworks/civil and infrastructure companies.
