The Role: We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Maintenance Coordinator to join our Energy Solutions team on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This pivotal role is responsible for planning, scheduling and dispatching our national field service team, ensuring both reactive and preventative maintenance jobs are delivered on time, to standard, and with great customer outcomes.
This is a busy and fast-paced position that requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to build strong relationships across the business and with our valued customers. This position reports to the Regional Operations Manager North Island and is based in our Wellington office. Key Responsibilities: Youll work closely with our Regional Managers and Service Technicians to: Create and maintain efficient daily schedules across planned and reactive maintenance work.
Match job requirements to technician skills and availability. Communicate with technicians to ensure they have accurate job scopes and support to deliver first-time fixes. Liaise with customers to confirm and coordinate service activity.
Accurately close out completed jobs and update our systems accordingly. Plan and coordinate monthly PPM schedules in line with contract SLAs. Act as a subject matter expert for our internal scheduling systems.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement. Key Relationships: Youll regularly interact with our Operations Team, Service Desk, Commercial and Customer teams, and external clients and stakeholders. Skills and Attributes: You will bring: Previous experience in a similar coordination or scheduling role (preferably in a technical or service industry).
Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Sound numerical and analytical ability. Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. A collaborative and proactive working style. Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills and the ability to pick up scheduling systems quickly.
Qualifications and Experience: Prior experience in dispatch, scheduling, or coordination is essential. Knowledge of SLA and KPI-based service contracts is an advantage. Confidence using job management systems and Microsoft applications.
