Were recruiting a Maintenance Engineering Apprentice for our host company located in Mt. Wellington, Auckland. If successful you will be employed by ATNZ and assigned to this host company where you will receive valuable on-the-job training while studying to become a fully qualified engineer.
The host company is ideally seeking someone experienced who may be in their 3rd year of their apprenticeship and looking to continue their study or has work experience in the maintenance engineering sector. What does a Maintenance Engineering Apprentice do? Maintenance engineers maintain machinery, so it is reliable on the production line (usually within a manufacturing environment). Maintenance engineers typically have a planned approach to maintenance, often involving computerised maintenance systems and condition monitoring, where the work may require a wide variety of engineering skills and knowledge.
