If you sound like that leader, read on. The opportunity: We're looking for an experienced Claims Manager to lead and develop our Senior Case Managers. Reporting to the Head of Claims, youll motivate the team to ensure effective processing and management of new and existing claims, while continuously reviewing and improving processes to achieve high performance.
Key responsibilities include: Managing and leading a team of Senior Case Managers to ensure effective and timely processing of new and existing claims. Overseeing the effective performance of the team, ensuring good claims decisions and positive customer experiences. Identifying and executing process improvement initiatives that will enable the team to achieve productivity, efficiency, and service targets.
Building a digital philosophy into the business plan for the team improving year on year e-submission and interaction rates. Building a highly engaged and focused team of professionals, providing support, training, coaching and direction needed for individuals to achieve their objectives. Implementing and overseeing the management of team goals that are aligned to the overall Claims and Customer strategy.
Advocating for AIA, and specifically the Claims team, with key stakeholders (internal and external) including advisers, re-insurers and medical providers. Assisting with project work and system enhancements across the team and wider organisation as required. Ideally, you'll bring: Proven expertise in leading or significantly contributing to a high performing team (3-5 years' leadership experience preferred).
Excellent communication skills, proficient in influencing and negotiation. Risk management experience. Exceptional relationship management skills Relevant degree or equivalent work experience.
