As the FP&A Manager for Product you will play a pivotal role in providing expertise and insight to deliver financial planning and analysis across your designated portfolio and team. Reporting into, and working closely with the GM Finance - Product you will help to bolster business acumen, critical and commercial thinking into decision making within the portfolio. Building strong relationships with the GMs throughout the portfolio, you will become a trusted advisor, helping to guide decision making and drive efficient growth.
You will be critical in helping to manage business case creation and appraisal for all capital allocation decisions. In addition, you will become the go-to for managing the forecasting, budgeting and reporting for your portfolio, leveraging your thorough understanding of the requirements and Xeros business model. What you'll do Partner with the Product EGMs & GMs, enabling faster and better decision making and performance, consistent with the strategy of both the Product portfolio and Xero Support the GM Finance - Product in driving the leadership teams in making decisions through modelling, analysis, inquiry, challenge, generating options and providing advice on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions Generate insights including the so-what, to recommend and advise the business on how best to improve operations, optimise performance, and adapt to changing business conditionsHelp to drive planning, reporting and forecasting for your portfolio, translating strategy into financial targets and tactical plans in deep partnership with Product & Operations teams Supply and implement best practice management reporting and modelling, providing strategic insight on the content of reports and performance evaluation for key metrics Execute current year delivery including creation of the annual budget and periodic reporting Management of all aspects of workforce planning ensuring FTEs and Open Role Planners are maintained, PO approval, and system inputs for forecasting / budgeting Support the GM Finance in the development and evaluation of strategies and investment opportunities Contribute to the development and implementation of Xeros capital allocation framework, reviewing capital expenditure and evaluating investments for the portfolio.
Build commercial skills across the business, including risk/reward decision making and value management Actively contribute to and provide support for projects/initiatives undertaken by the Finance team and by the wider Fin.
