The Opportunity: We are on the look-out for a commercially savvy Product Manager to join our New Zealand Distributor Business, who is a strong influencer with an agile mind set. Tasked with managing the product lifecycle from new product introduction to end of life, as the expert of the product line portfolio, this role will deliver sound insights that drive portfolio growth across the dual brands of Fisher & Paykel Appliances and Haier. This is where you come in Youll be responsible for the planning and execution of the product line strategy and driving portfolio optimisation ensuring correct positioning and mix of high performing products, and rationalising of low performing products.
You will proactively plan and execute new product introductions and activity to maximise revenue and margin, deeply understanding the product line & associated brands, and their price positioning in market. You will have the ability to build a strong understanding of the product lines financial performance, providing regular, robust market insights of product line to Global Product Managers. Collaborating closely with all channels to devise strategies that will support their channel, you will ensure cross-functional alignment with stakeholders across all teams.
To be successful in this role, you will respond to competitor activity, ensuring right product, through to analysing success of product lines. You will ensure a seamless, brand aligned representation of F&P and Haiers brand value proposition applied across all customer touch points. So that's the role who are you? We are looking for someone who is not only passionate about products but has the ability to influence and lead across the business to ensure their commercial success.
You will have experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders to help drive growth, compile business cases and briefs and to execute on agreed plans. You are also comfortable operating in situations where there is some level of ambiguity. You'll inherently know how to extract and analyse information, and concisely present this to all the relevant stakeholders.
In time, you will be seen as a trusted category expert within our business. You will ideally have previous working experience in a product management role within consumer goods, luxury goods, FMCG, or even in a category analyst role?
