As a Sales and Marketing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing dynamic campaigns that blend sales strategy with creative media content. You will collaborate closely with our team to ensure campaigns are developed and launched in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
The role offers excellent commission opportunities, and you will have the chance to creatively influence how our brand is perceived in the market. Key Accountabilities Develop and execute integrated sales and marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives, focusing on customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth. Lead creative development and production of media content (digital, print, social) to support campaigns, ensuring all materials resonate with target audiences.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend spotting to identify new opportunities and optimize campaigns for maximum impact. Collaborate with directors and senior team leaders to sell products into different market segments, particularly by designing targeted marketing strategies. Drive the creative vision for campaigns, ensuring messaging and content are compelling, relevant, and in line with brand values.
Implement a sales management system to launch, track, and analyse campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to improve ongoing efforts. Coordinate pop-up promotions, activations, and industry events, ensuring each is aligned with overall campaign strategies. Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor, while following all company policies and procedures in all areas of campaign execution.
Qualifications, Attributes and Experience Skills and Knowledge Knowledge of New Zealand ski industry Able to act quickly, take on direction and execute plans efficiently and effectively Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or outdoor recreation industry Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive strategic decision-making Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a creative and innovative mindset Familiarity with the ski industry and a passion for outdoor recreation is highly desirable Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Personal Qualities High energy levels Self motivated A quick response to requests, ideas and suggestions in a non-defensive way A tolerance for uncertain markets and weather conditions Flexible approach to work schedules, guest needs and the strategic direction of the organisation Tactfulness and helpfulness in dealing with others Ability to travel and work from various locations and self-manage time efficiently.
