Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to: Purchase materials needed for production, ensuring timely delivery and minimising inventory investment Create and manage purchase orders, expediting or de-expediting as needed to meet production schedules Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Follow up with suppliers on deliveries, resolving any issues or discrepancies Analyse and report on inventory levels, providing transparency on results to stakeholders Collaborate with suppliers, operations, and other teams to discuss performance, address issues, and plan for future needs Troubleshoot and resolve invoice discrepancies, ensuring accurate payment to suppliers Plan and coordinate materials for new product launches, minimizing waste and ensuring smooth production Develop, document, and maintain policies and procedures related to materials planning Work closely with various teams, including Inwards Goods, Production Planners, Accounts Payable, and Logistics, to ensure seamless supply chain operations About you: A highly motivated and experienced Materials Scheduler with a passion for supply chain management Strong foundation in business, logistics, or supply chain management, with a relevant industry or tertiary qualification (e.g.
APICS CPIM or CIPSA) Prior experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment Proficient in using ERP systems and MRP theory and practice Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, with basic skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think logically and mathematically Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders Full working rights in New Zealand Benefits of working with us: Pay for Performance i.
