Our client, a well-established healthcare organisation based in central Auckland, is seeking a proactive and organised Medical Administrator to provide support across various hospital departments. This is a full-time, temporary role (40 hours/week, Monday to Friday) for a minimum of six months.
Flexibility to work at both the Greenlane and Grafton sites is essential. Key Responsibilities: Customer service answering calls, responding to enquiries, greeting patients Managing referrals and booking/rescheduling patient appointments Sending appointment confirmations and relevant documentation Coordinating support services such as interpreters or transport when required Ensuring all patient information and documentation is accurate and up to date Collaborating with clinical teams, management, and fellow admin staff to deliver high-quality support Performing general administrative duties as needed What Were Looking For: Minimum of 2 years administration experience Previous healthcare experience is highly desirable Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to adapt to new systems and changing procedures Highly organised, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook A team player with a professional and positive attitude Start Date: ASAP This is an excellent opportunity to build on your healthcare administration experience and contribute meaningfully to patient care within the public sector.
