We are looking for a Scientist or a recent BMLS graduate to work in the Core Lab. Our ideal candidate would have Haematology and Biochemistry experience. Your role will see you performing both routine and specialised tests with a high degree of skill and confidence.
About you | He krero mu A team focus with initiative, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and possess the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment. Excellent attention to detail, with good record keeping skills. The ability to work independently, while in a supported role.
Registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand is essential and Annual Practicing Certificate as a Medical Laboratory Scientist is desirable, but not essential. Experience with Biochemistry and Haematology procedures would be an advantage. A sound knowledge of laboratory operations including; safety, operation of equipment and hands-on practical experience in Biochemistry and Haematology.
