Medical Receptionist Te Hau o Te Ora Limited Location: Invercargill FTE: 1 About the role Te Hau o Te Ora Invercargill, has an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. The receptionist is a pivotal person in the medical centre environment as they are the first point of contact with patients and visitors. They also coordinate services and play a major role in the prioritising clinical workflow and managing patient expectations.
You will contribute to the efficient running of the medical service, provide support to the team and oversee the reception and general housekeeping of our work environment. Te Hau o Te Ora is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Ko wai koe | About You The ideal applicant will bring: Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Professional personal presentation. The ability to deal with people of all ages and backgrounds in a respectful, calm, and caring manner. Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Professionalism in all admin and reception duties. Accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. Exceptional accuracy and high attention to detail.
Punctuality and good time management. Medtech PMS knowledge would be an advantage but not essential. Someone who prides themselves in being part of a busy and high performing team.
