KuehneNagel New Zealand are looking for an experienced National Air Freight Manager-Operations to join the team based at our Auckland Air Logistics Hub. Reporting to the General Manager Air Logistics, this role will be responsible for the delivery of our Air Logistics operations strategy across New Zealand. Your Role As the National Air Freight Manager-Operations, you will be accountable for leading a dynamic team to deliver operational excellence and achieve the ultimate goal of delivering exceptional customer service excellence to our Air Logistics customers.

In addition, you will work alongside other senior Air Logistics leaders to drive the best possible outcomes for KN NZ. Your Responsibilities - Deliveroperational excellence through high quality shipment management whilecontinuously optimising the cost of production. - Enhanceoperational capabilities and deliver increased profitability.

- Toprovide leadership and direction to the operational care organisation including driving collaboration between Customer Care, Revenue Care, Sales andOperations Optimisation todeliver a great customer experience. - Tosupport the development of pricing strategies (liaise on pricing / RFQpreparation). - Toactively manage interfaces and information / knowledge exchange between KNteams.

- To optimise proceedings to ensure development of Air Logistics operational KPIs. - Toensure the highest levels of productivity within the organisation. - Tosupport Air Logistics procurement and carrier relationship management.

- Toensure a high-level quality of export/import services including KN products, KNHealthCare and KN EngineChain. - Toclosely cooperate with Sales on strategic accounts as needed. - Toclosely cooperate with Customer Care to gain specialised customer specific knowledge and to receive first-hand feedback aboutoperational execution.

- Tosupport to develop new / existing customer targets. - Ensurethat operations are managed within the respective regulatory requirementsassociated with the functions of their teams and in alignment with industry andnational regimes. Your Skills and Experiences - Aminimum of five years freight forwarding experience - with in depth exposure toand expertise in Air Logistics Operations.

- Previousexperience leading and coaching staff is highly advantageous, however thedesire and passion to lead people is essential. - Self-motivatedand ability to work autonomously. - Commitmentto finding more efficient or cost-effective ways of doing things.
